A visit from Jack Frost

A frosted plant early on a winter morning

Significant snow is rare here. Bristol usually misses most of the bad winter weather that other parts of the country gets. It can get pretty cold but very cold frosty mornings aren’t that plentiful.
This morning I fling back the curtains and everything has had a dusting of frost and the sun is rising on a cloudless day. A multitude of layers are flung on and I’m out with my camera before the frost melts and disappears. It may have looked lovely from the window inside but it’s bitterly cold outside. I take a handful of photographs as quickly as I can then I’m back in, kettle on, warming up.

I hope wherever you are you are warm and well.
